Loaders for quarries and mining operations
Quarry work is a tonnage business: the loaders are matched to the haul cycle, and an undersized bucket costs more than the machine.
What decides the machine here
Match to haul trucks
A loader that fills a truck in more than five passes is the wrong size. Pass match sets the bucket, not the other way round.
Abrasion
Aggregate wears buckets, lips and tyres fast. Wear plate thickness and GET (ground-engaging tools) are the maintenance line.
Dust
Air filtration is the engine's life. Pre-cleaners and frequent filter changes are cheaper than a rebuild.
Availability
One loader down stops the plant. Parts stock on site is standard practice, not a precaution.
Models that work in this environment
The first four sizes of each relevant range. Every one links to its full specification.
| Range | Model | Capacity | Bought for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Electric Wheel Loader | 06EV | 400 kg | 400 kg, lithium iron phosphate. |
| Electric Wheel Loader | 1200EV | 1200 kg | 1,200 kg. |
| Electric Wheel Loader | 1500EV | 1500 kg | 1,500 kg. |
| Electric Wheel Loader | 2000EV | 2000 kg | 2,000 kg. |
The mistake we see most
Specifying on bucket volume without checking material density. A 3.5 m³ bucket of wet sand is heavier than the same bucket of gravel, and the plate does not know the difference.
Describe the site, not the machine
Ground surface, aisle or gate width, lift height, hours per shift, destination port. We answer with the model and the reason.
